Synopsis
Basic Excel 2000-2002 will help teachers and parents to give children a head start in spreadsheets as required by the National Curriculum at Key Stages 2 and 3 using Excel 2000 or 2002. This book is suitable for whole class, group and individual teaching. It is divided into a series of lessons that gradually introduce the fundamentals of spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel 2000 or 2002. Technical vocabulary is gradually introduced to enable ease of communication. Each chapter is carefully designed to clearly show pupils how to perform various tasks that they can follow at their own pace with minimal teacher assistance. It shows how spreadsheets may be used in a range of different subjects across the curriculum. Ideal for pupils aged 8-14 and a useful introduction to new ICT teachers or beginners of all ages.
