About the Author
Claire Mooney lectures in Mathematics Education at the University of Southampton. She spent eight years as a primary teacher before moving into teacher education. Lindsey Ferrie is a primary school teacher in Carlisle. Sue Fox has had extensive experience of teaching all ages from Reception to Year 6. She is currently Senior Mathematics Lecturer at St Martin's College, Carlisle. Alice Hansen is a Lecturer in Mathematics Education at St Martin's College, Lancaster. She has taught extensively at primary level and has a particular interest in the use of ICT in mathematics teaching and learning. Reg Wrathmell is Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Education at King Alfred's College, Winchester. He has extensive experience as a mathematics consultant and as a provider of in-service courses.
