Synopsis

A work in progress at the time of the author's death, this publication features selected verses that have been culled from previously unpublished writings. About the Author
Martin Lings is a former keeper of Oriental manuscripts at the British Museum, a former professor of Shakespeare at Cairo University–Egypt, an expert in Islamic manuscripts, and the author of Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources, Return of the Spirit, Sufi Poems, and What Is Sufism?
