Synopsis
Striking effects can be created quickly and easily using a variety of simple methods. Carol uses handmade papers, vellum, layering, three dimensional techniques, inks and stencils to make simply stunning cards. Decorative effects add a touch of class and glitz to subtly coloured designs and the raised patterns are highlighted with complementary shades and fine glitter. About the Author
Carol Wallis has a long-standing interest in crafts of all kinds. She started making cards for fun and to give to friends and family, but her hobby has snowballed. She now juggles work as an in-flight cabin crew supervisor for the airline Virgin Atlantic with a second career teaching and demonstrating her innovative card-making techniques. Carol has devised projects and written articles for magazines including Crafts Beautiful, given demonstrations at numerous craft fairs and made live television appearances. She is the UK Creative Consultant for Kars. When she finds a free moment in her busy schedule she dreams up ideas to pass on to ther students, spends time with friends and uddles her beloved cat Leeloo.
