About the Author
Educated at Wadham College in Oxford, David was a television documentary director and scriptwriter for more than 20 years, working in the UK and North America. He is now a full-time writer based in the Yorkshire Dales and has published more than 30 titles covering a wide range of travel, leisure and local history topics. David has written previous Country Living titles including Ireland, the Heart of England and the North East. Other Travel Publishing titles include Yorkshire, Ireland, Scotland, Dorset & Hampshire, the Highlands & Islands and Devon.
