William Binchy is Regius Professor of Laws at Trinity College Dublin; has written widely on the subject and is a regular commentator in the media on issues of law. Ciaran Craven is a practising barrister. He lectures in the medical law Master of Laws Degree programme at Trinity College Dublin and is co-author of a textbook on psychiatry and the law. He has published widely on aspects of tort law.
