Philip Tinari is a writer and curator based in Beijing. He has written on China for publications including Artforum, The New York Times Magazine, and The Wall Street Journal. He is China advisor to the international art fair Art Basel and academic consultant to Sotheby's Hong Kong. He holds an A.M. in East Asian studies from Harvard and was a Fulbright fellow at Peking University.
