Vanity, cloning and the myth of Narcissus: when the race for power overrules ethical probity.In the US, the presidential campaign heats up. Narcissus Shimmer, who is campaigning for re-election as head of State, leads all the polls. Ron Grubb, a private investigator, is hired by the opposition to dig out the dirt on Shimmer and bring him down. Grubb discovers a baby shrouded in secret, whose birth was monitored by one of the country's leading biotechnologists. Has Grubb discovered the first human clone? Will the most powerful man on earth, Narcissus Shimmer, be dethroned?

About the Author
Alcante won a Spirou Magazine script-writing competition in1995. From 2002, his short comics were published regularly in Spirou. Pandora Box is his first series. He was inspired by fairy tales and legends from all over the world and his influences range from Van Hamme to Alan Moore. Didier Pagot has also illustrated a Heroic Fantasy series, Les Traine-Tenebres, written by Brice Tarvel and published by Soleil Productions. In 2002, he joined Les Humanoides Associes and worked on the Fides series alongside Anne Ploy and Loic Malnati.
