About the Author
Ann Ford is an Assistant Professor at Virginia State University, where she teaches courses in graphic design and web design. She has over 12 years of graphic design and academic experience and is Principal and Creative Director of Chambers Design where she continues to service the community providing solutions to design problems.
Prior to her academic appointment, she worked as Liaison for VCUQatar, Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts Campus in Doha, Qatar. She also worked for the VCU Department of Theatre as Director Graphic Design and Public Relations, as well as, adjunct professor for the Department of Graphic Design teaching courses in typography, print production, graphic design, system design and imaging.
Ann received an MFA in Design / Visual Communications and a BFA in Communication Arts + Design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
