He has been using electric cars for daily use for four years and founded the Reva Electric Car Owners' Club in 2006. The club is now among the largest and most popular electric car owners' clubs in the world with over 1,000 members.
Michael has previously written about solar energy, electric bikes and mobile computing systems.
He misspent his youth tinkering with cars and engines in his father's garage and driving racing cars around motor racing circuits.
