"You can find some good Fry & Laurie material here. There's early "Gordon and Stu" as well as trademark wordplay and double entendre. To be fair, I won't say there aren't weak spots here. For starters, Ben Elton apparently butts in on one skit, and it makes little to no sense without visuals, despite Ben's manic zest (the problem being that half of his actor's appeal lies in seeing him twitch and sweat his way through a routine). Nonetheless, both Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie were already well along in developing their comic skills, and much of the material chosen for this set works fine as audio-only work. Newcomers might be confused by this pair's humour, but anyone who enjoyed the radio series "Saturday Night Fry" and/or the later TV show "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" will find this a worthy addition to the collection"
