About the Author

Maite Barón is the author of 2014 Nautilus Silver Award 'Corporate Escape: the Rise of the New Entrepreneur' for inner Prosperity / Right Livelihood. She was born in Barcelona (Spain) where she studied psychology. Disillusioned with the academic teaching, she left after two years to became a designer for major fashion houses like Balmain and Dior before returning to her true interest - people. After qualifying in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic programming), coaching and range of behavioural tools and training disciplines, she has spent the last 14 years working as an executive coach for both high-performance individuals and in major European companies and multinationals. But after seeing so many spending lifetimes trapped in large organisations, she is now firmly focused on helping those fed up with the rat race escape the corporation. Today, she is known by some as The Corporate Escape coach™ for her work helping disillusioned professionals break free from the rat race. She is also known as a tough leader who helps others 'see' how they can rekindle their passion for life by reinventing themselves and creating lifestyle businesses that enable them to achieve success on their terms.
