Synopsis

Poetry. Morgan Harlow's debut collection builds a significant new bridge between American and British poetry, with its modified sonnets, journal fragments, prose poems and overall wit of gaze and poised eccentricity. Harlow represents a natural world riddled with strange artifice—"the countryside blurred in a way one hadn't noticed quite before."
