From the Back Cover

"Okla Elliott has written a thorough account of the phenomenon that is the Bernie Sanders campaign for president. With genuine and precise insights he presents the 2016 Democratic primary and makes an impassioned yet honest argument for why Sanders is the candidate we need now. He explains truthfully what Sanders stands for, including how his critics have tried to misrepresent those ideas. The issues at stake, the foremost being wealth inequality, form the backdrop for why a candidate like Sanders matters most at this critical moment in our nation's history and why his appeal extends beyond his Democratic Party base. This is the most important book of the campaign season."

-Matt Gonzalez (JD, Stanford University and former president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors)
