Synopsis
A sense of justice is felt amongst Bath hoteliers when an unpopular hotel reviewer is found dead stuffed inside a giant teddy at the bottom of an open grave. About the Author
Jean G. Goodhind is a popular writer of women’s fiction, romance and comedy. For many years she owned and ran a haunted guest house on the outskirts of Bath and was one of the founder members of the Bath Hotel and Restaurant Association. Her experiences inspired the international bestselling Honey Driver series. She has won a BBC Radio award for scriptwriting. She also writes women’s fiction as Lizzie Lane and writes a regular column for the Western Daily Press.

Since Wright's credo was "You only get a good review if you paid for it," that would apparently include nearly everyone in the business. Much of the mystery centers on the development of Memory Meadows, an ecologically friendly cemetery. A cast of idiosyncratic characters—Honey's mother, a dictatorial and meddlesome gadabout with unique ideas about staying youthful; the fanatical members of the Fans of Agatha Christie Association, who are sure Wright's murder was staged for their entertainment; and the mildly inebriated habitués of the village pub—all add much needed spice to an otherwise bland story.
