Synopsis
Gus a quitté l’enfance un été de canicule. Alors qu’il aide son père paysan, lit et relit ses bandes dessinées, se baigne dans un réservoir souterrain avec Mado, la fille perdue du village, son univers familier et rassurant se fissure.
La mère de Gus, présence constante, tendre et complice s’éloigne peu à peu de lui, tandis que son père, pourtant véritable force de la nature, s’enferme dans sa chambre pour cuver son chagrin.
