Sherlock Holmes is well known to us through the adventures he shared with John Watson and related by the good doctor. About the Author:

Hugh Ashton has been described by The District Messenger, the newsletter of the Sherlock Holmes Society of London, as "one of the best writers of new Sherlock Holmes stories, in both plotting and style". Originally living in Kamakura, Japan, and now a resident of Lichfield in the UK, Ashton continues to produce adventures of Sherlock Holmes that are frequently favourably compared to the original stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Andy Boerger lives in Tokyo, with a family that includes ferrets. He has published several books of his drawings and writings, as well as illustrating other authors' books. He and Hugh Ashton have collaborated on a series of detective stories for children, the first being Sherlock Ferret and the Missing Necklace, featuring the world's cutest detective.
