Many of his popular books have been bestsellers and his academic books are required reading in universities and seminaries all over the world. I was devastated when I heard the news that my trusted friend, Mark Stibbe, had had a moral failure. He was a man I admired, and I considered it a pure joy to know and work with him (I still do). While I never could have imagined that this would happen to him and his family, here it was inexcusable and wrong. And yet my greatest privilege in life is to represent Jesus by loving well.
