Based on the latest research, this book tells you what works (and doesn’t work), how it works, what you should look for from therapy and your therapist, and what to do if it isn’t helping. With more than 500 different types of talking therapy on offer, mostly provided in the private sector, it can be a bewildering experience trying to find what will best help you with your problems. But therapy does work, and this essential guide will help you get the most from what it offers.
