About the Author

Roslyn Petelin runs an award-winning writing program at the University of Queensland, and developed the hugely successful online course WRITE101X English Grammar and Style. She is coauthor of The Professional Writing Guide and Professional Communication. She is on the editorial board of Business Communication Quarterly, and has previously taught at Cornell University and at City University New York.
