About the Author

Philippa (Pippa) Carron, PhD, is a freelance writer, editor, trainer, workshop facilitator and personal writing coach. She works for a range of private sector and government clients, delivering writing courses and providing high-level writing and editing services through her company Yelsel International Pty Ltd, under the business name Writing in the Gap (www.writinginthegap.com). Pippa's writing experience includes academic papers, theses, conference papers, speeches, handbooks, training manuals, procedure manuals, workbooks, technical books, PowerPoint presentations, government reports, issues papers, précis, business plans, magazine articles, travel articles, promotional flyers, and brochures. More recently, she has been working with fiction writing, editing and manuscript appraisal, and leads a creative writing group.
