Synopsis
Jay Carp and Ruth were college sweethearts. Although their love felt true, their lives nonetheless diverged and, after college, they lost touch as each pursued a career, married, and raised families far distant from one another. Many decades later, when both are widowed and their children grown, they reunite one weekend and in that brief time realize their love is as passionate and deep as when they first met. This is the story of their remarkable love the good times they shared, and the tragedy of cancer that brought it to a very premature end.

About the Author
Jay Carp obtained his engineering degree from the University of Michigan and then pursued a long career with GTE. He specialized in work on the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System and the Inter Continental Ballistic Missile systems. He currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan and remains a loving father to his six daughters.
