About the Author

Author Kenneth Jessen has written a wide variety of books on Colorado including over 1,700 pages in his three volume Ghost Towns, Colorado Style. He is also the author of Bizarre Colorado, Colorado Gunsmoke, Eccentric Colorado, Estes Park - A Quick History, Georgetown - A Quick History and An Ear in His Pocket. Ken has been writing books for over twenty years and has a weekly column in his local newspaper. He has made eight appearances on Colorado GetAways (Denver Channel 4), a number os segments on public radio and presently has a monthly radio show (Clear Channel KCOL 600 AM). In addition, Ken gives ghost town tours for the Colorado Historical Society and other groups.
