About the Author
In 1997, 1998 and 1999, Bernard Cohen was named as one of the Sydney Morning Herald's Best Young Australian Novelists. Paul Needs Specs is Bernard's first children's picture book, and is based on the author's personal experience of needing glasses as a child. Geoff Kelly worked as a commercial artist for 15 years before turning his talents to illustrating children's books. His distinctive and colorful style makes Paul Needs Specs a true "Spectopolis."
