This publication was created to address the issues facing those responsible for managing and administering payrolls across international borders. U.S. employers are expanding involvement across the globe, and payroll departments need clear, current, and correct information on international benefits, wage and tax withholding and reporting requirements. APA's Guide to Global Payroll Management consolidates this much needed global information in a single text, including: payroll for aliens working in the U.S., payroll for U.S. employees working abroad (expatriates), U.S. immigration law, detailed summaries of current tax treaties and social security totalization agreements in force, payroll tax law summaries for selected countries, and federal forms essential to global payroll. Current edition: June 2005.
