About the Author

Dimitri B. Kececioglu, Ph.D., P.E., is Professor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at The University of Arizona, in charge of the university's Graduate Reliability Engineering Program, and a recognized authority on Reliability Engineering. He brings to these books his many years of experience in engineering education, consulting and writing.

Dr. Kececioglu is a Fullbright Scholar, a Fellow of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), a Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the author of thirteen books and more than 150 published papers, and the recipient of numerous engineering awards including the Ralph R. Teetor Award of the SAE. He received his M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Purdue University.
