Before reaching age 18, Jan Nemec was a licensed guide and commercial tier based in Trukcee, California. At 30, he's found his home with the Orvis Company, managing the Orvis Reno store. Orvis also currently ties several of Jan's patterns designed specifically for Nevada's fisheries, as well as the neighboring Sierra Nevada Mountains. Jan regularly contributes articles and photography to Sierra Fisherman Magazine.
