Children's book author and illustrator Kathleen Bart retells the classic Aesop's fable of the town mouse and country mouse with a teddy bear twist. In Ms. Bart's version, Tuxedo Teddy is overwhelmed by the hectic pace of his home in the city, while his cousin, Bandanna Bear, is bored by his quiet country existence. Each is convinced that the other leads the perfect life, and they decide to swap places. Humorous faux pas, madcap mishaps and hilarious adventures follow. In the end, Tuxedo Teddy and Bandanna Bear both discover that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence, and gain an appreciation for the contrasting pleasures of each other's lives.
