About the Author

Joyce Mitchell writes for college advice columns in both the Hardwick Gazette (Vermont) and the teen edition of the China Daily. She has served as the director of college advising at schools in New Jersey and New York City, an editorial advisory board member for the College Board’s Review, and a school committee member of U. S. News & World Report’s special college issues. She is the author of College to Career: The Guide to Career Planning and Winning the Heart of the College Admissions Dean. She lives in New York City.
