Collection Development is a book that views the curation and acquisition of resources in a very different way known as collection mapping. In this concept, budgets for formats such as books, multimedia, databases, e-books, etc. are replaced by chunking the collection into topics that serve the needs of the curriculum and interests of the patrons.
