Included are essays on twenty-five films, a filmography, and a sit-down interview. An excellent guide to one of Japan’s freshest cinematic masters.
Jerry White is a regular contributor to Asian Cult Cinema and the writer of several award-winning short films. He lives in Watchung, New Jersey.

About the Author
As a regular contributor to Asian Cult Cinema, Jerry White has written about everything from the history of the Juon franchise to the current state of Taiwanese film. Mr. White has also written several award-winning short films, including "Duel at Red Table" and "Misfortune Cookie." He received an MFA from Emerson College, where he has taught on Asian film.
