Elizabeth C. Pomeroy (Ph.D., University of Texas at Austin; LCSW) is professor at University of Texas at Austin and co-director of the Institute for Grief, Loss and Family Survival. She is the editor-in-chief of Social Work, the official professional journal of the National Association of Social Workers. Her previous books include The Clinical Assessment Workbook with K. Wambach, and The Grief Assessment and Intervention Workbook: A Strengths-Based Perspective which she co-authored with Renee Bradford Garcia. Renee Bradford Garcia (LCSW; MSW, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor) is a clinical social worker in private practice and a practice affiliate with The Institute for Grief, Loss and Family Survival. Her career as a social worker includes extensive experience with palliative care, bereavement, loss and life transitions. She has over 15 years experience helping people discover their strengths and use them to find greater fulfillment and inner peace.
