About the Author

Alison Lester: One of the most popular and best-selling writers and illustrators of children's books in Australia, Alison Lester's career has spanned over 20 years. She enjoys days at home with her family and animals, late nights dancing, shopping for clothes and watching television in bed with her daughter.
Joan de Déu Prats, a Catalan native, has written more than 45 books for young children. His work has been translated into Italian, Korean, English and even Braille. He has twice won the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu prize awarded for excellence in children's literature.
Maria Rousakis (or Rousaki) was born in New York in 1974. Her family is originally from a small mountain village named, Alagonia, on the outskirts of Kalamata city in southern Greece. Maria has lived in Athens since 1985. She studied sociology at the American Community College of Greece-Deree College. She has worked as a journalist and real estate agent but her greatest passion is writing for children of all ages, from picture books to children's novels.
