These poems were initially written to fulfill the author s need to understand. Some of the poems were written after reading words of wisdom from great writers such as Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Emilie Cady, and Ernest Holmes, and many were taken from the Bible or other ancient texts. Some were written following spiritual discussions with friends. But most were inspired from the heart, written in the middle of the night on one of the author s computers, or frantically scratched out on scraps of paper after walking the beach. As you will see, he believes in the power of rhyme. The book contains thoughts of the spirit, affirmations, and prayers. Although a few of the poems are personal, Coach believes he has made this book more important than himself. He presents these poems to the reader in hopes that some of them will entertain, enlighten, and inspire.

About the Author:
When Coach MacArthur is not teaching elementary physical education in Vero Beach, Florida, he can be found riding the surf or walking the beaches in his hometown of Fort Pierce. Now that he has finished this book, he hopes to rebuild his flower garden and do all the things he has neglected for so long.
