Synopsis
"Y" City is more than just a fork in the road. For some, it's a place where there is no turning back. 'Y" City is an inconsequential town in far western Arkansas and home to Leah Taylor, who many agree was the most stunning woman in the state. No one understood why she had married Rip, a wealthy but notoriously brutal man. When tragedy finally strikes their spacious ranch in "Y" City, it seems that only handsome, opportunistic cowhand Harley Wright knows for sure what happened. Passions flare and the community erupts in outrage, stirred by the ambitions of the local prosecutor and Leah's own seductive daughter. When even his best friends turn against him, it's up to Sheriff Hollis Brown to sort out fact from fiction amidst a mountain of conflicting testimonies and motives. Was this a case of revenge or blackmail? Was it simply an accident or was it the final act of a marriage gone bad? Were the townspeople burning for justice, or was there something more sinister at play? In a race against time, there's no telling if Hollis's intent is to mollify the town or save a man's life.
