I was living in Afghanistan when the idea came to me about putting together a small book of testimonies from ex-Muslims. Many people have been so misled by the religion of Islam. In many cases, Muslims are very sincere in their beliefs, but that does not make their beliefs correct. Truth, in reality, is more important than sincerity.

The testimonies of the ex-Muslims in this book reveal how they found the truth and escaped the bondage of Islam. let me say it's not an easy decision to leave Islam, because the Koran calls for death to those who leave this religion. Parents will disown their own children for leaving Islam. Thus, there's a big price to pay when a Muslim makes a decision for Christianity. Severe persecution is common for ex-Muslims who renounce the teachings of the Koran. Make no mistake; it takes courage and strong convictions to make life-changing decisions of this nature.
