This is for French but it applies to all my products. As a description, I prefer to share parts of email conversations with John, a customer: "I bought your course back in 2007, via Amazon I believe. I'm from South Carolina but live in London now. I used your course as prescribed for about 10 weeks, and then rewatched the French in Action videos… It was quite a breakthrough because I could not speak French well prior to using your course. In 2008 my wife and I took a 2-week trip to France and people couldn't believe I was American and not European. I credit much of that to SmartFrench. I did not use SmartFrench as a complete beginner… I started trying to learn French in 2005… but… my ability to copy the French language was extremely limited. I had completely plateaued. I could not get phases off my tongue... I took your advice comparing practice going to the gym, and well after 10 weeks I broke the plateau. I went back to the audio lessons where I'd failed repeatedly in the past. SmartFrench got the sounds in my ears… SmartFrench for me was more time efficient and interesting.Finally the test, the vacation to France in 2008 when surprisingly I could communicate from the moment I got off the plane. Renting a car, getting directions, extended small talk. All those activities you'd normally fail at the moment you walk off a plane were not a problem... You offer a part-time method that's more interesting...I'll explain why your teaching is efficient and worth the $$... The raw quality of the videos gives us the impromptu personality of you Mr. Aubert and the French language. SmartFrench IMO was not about software, it was about learning. 1) I never made the connection to gotta go and 2) I didn't know the contraction "fauqu j'y aill" maybe "fauqu" but not the "j'y aill". Laughable I still didn't know that!!.. gotta go -> fauqu j'y aill -> pat pro blem! Those 2 valuable tips were worth $20 a piece so at 50 or so lessons ~ $1000 worth for only $216! I'll come out at $784 ahead! :) "Enjoy!
