Dr. Paul D. Slocumb, Ed.D. (1943-2010) was than author, consultant, and career educator with more than four decades of experience at all levels of public instruction and administration. His specialties included a focus on boys in crisis and on gifted student programs and training, with an emphasis on assessment and curricula that help to serve students from poverty. Ruby K. Payne, Ph.D. is founder of aha! Process and an author, speaker, publisher, and career educator.
