About the Author:
Gopal Dorai is an Economist and Statistician. He received his Ph.D., in Economics from Wayne State University and has lived in the United States since 1963. A Professor of Economics (Emeritus) at William Paterson University in New Jersey, Dr. Dorai relocated to Maryland in 2000 where he taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland. He is the author of "From Vilayur to Baltimore" (American Literary Press 2008) an inspirational autobiography spanning several decades. Married with two children and five grandchildren, he currently resides in Ellicott City, Maryland.
