About the Author

John Chapple was born and raised on the North Devon coast of England, where the spectacular scenery inspired him to pick up a camera at the age of 14. Self-taught, John has enjoyed an incredibly varied and successful career as a news, celebrity portraiture, and landscape photographer - contributing to the New York Post, DailyMail.com, the Discovery Channel, and many others. He has photographed iconic celebrities including Charlie Sheen, Jon Bon Jovi and Samuel L Jackson, and won multiple awards for his stunning landscape work. During his 30-year career, John has traveled all over the world to cover major news stories such as the 9/11 atrocities in New York and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. The married dad-of-two currently lives in Tarzana, Los Angeles.
