Texas Geography is a TEKS-aligned 4th Grade Texas Resource with EIGHT COMPLETE Content-Based lessons of Nonfiction Informational Text that take students on a journey through the five Regions of the United States before bringing them home to Texas Regions, Texas Water Resources, and Texas Points of Interest.

Texas Geography places a heavy emphasis on Mapping Skills. Each of the 8 lessons requires students to create Reference and Thematic maps based on Cardinal and Intermediate Directions, Latitude and Longitude, Number and Letter Coordinates, and Grid Systems:

About the Author
Authors Victoria Smith and Amy Headley are veteran teachers in Arizona with more than 40 years of teaching experience between them. They formed Splash!
