Synopsis
When Derrick Twitchell plowed into a deer on a crowded Michigan expressway, it was just the start of his troubles. A despondent woman on a nearby overpass jumped to her death, leaving behind a note that contained her theory as to who might have killed the Garl family up north. Instead of giving the note to the police, Twitchell keeps it, with hopes that it'll help him collect a $100,000 reward for the Garls' killers. The contents of the note - and the sordid characters he encounters - lead Twitchell down a path of danger, intrigue, and temptation most men would find hard to resist.
