About the Author:
Mary Young holds a master's degree in transpersonal psychology, has taught Jungian and archetypal studies at private colleges in the Southwest, and is the author of many books in the field of spirituality and personal transformation. She is a mother and a grandmother, dedicated to the wellbeing of children. She lives in northern Arizona. She is the author of We Like to Nurse Too (Hohm Press, 2009).
Zachary Parker is a graphic and cover artist who has designed numerous adult and children's books. A drummer, Zac tours with two bands, one blues, one rock. He is the father of a pre-school daughter, and lives with his wife in Northern Arizona.

1. The Sun gives heat and light to the Earth so living things can grow. 2. We want to keep our Earth green and alive. 3. We like to breathe clean air, drink clear water and eat clean healthy food. 4. When the Earth is healthy, so are we. 5. We like to live in harmony with the Earth. 6. We like the clear blue waters of our oceans, lakes and streams. 7. Every living creature needs pure water. 8. We like to plant flowers to invite the bees to come. We like to eat fresh, organic food, grown close to home. 9. We like to garden. We use scraps of vegetables and plants to make compost that enriches the soil. 10. We like to recycle and reuse. We return glass, paper, cans and plastic. 11. We bring our own cloth bags to the grocery store instead of using plastic. 12. We like to walk and ride our bikes. 13. We like to share rides with friends. 14. We like to conserve water and electricity. 15. We turn off lights - we turn off dripping faucets. 16. We like to plant trees, 17. Trees make the oxygen we breathe. 18. We like to take care of the Earth. 19. We like the colors of dawn, deep green forests, the songs of birds, the moon when it's full. 20. All life is connected. 21. We like to keep the Earth green. We love our Earth.
