Adam Garry is a former elementary school teacher and is Dell's manager of global education strategy. He has presented at conferences around the world, including International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and has delivered keynotes across the United States and in Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Trinidad. He has published many articles on technology integration for several education magazines and coauthored Teaching the iGeneration: Five Easy Ways to Introduce Essential Skills With Web 2.0 Tools. Since 2005, he has consulted in school districts across the United States on school transformation, personalized learning, professional development, 21st century skills, technology integration, curriculum and instruction, and leadership. He was one of the facilitators for the Partnership for 21st Century Skills professional development affiliates program and ISTE's School 2.0 workshops.
Adam earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of South Florida, a master's degree in teaching and learning with a technology emphasis from Framingham State College, and a certificate in administration and supervision from Johns Hopkins University.
Amos Fodchuk is president of Advanced Learning Partnerships (ALP), an educational consulting firm with active partnerships across the United States and in Canada. With his team, Amos has earned a rich record of success in the co-development and scale-up of innovative learning models with school districts, universities, corporations, and foundations, as well as state and federal government agencies.
Teaching since 2006, Amos has earned over twenty local, state, and national awards for excellence and innovation in American public education. Among his many distinctions, he is a national board-certified teacher, Fulbright Scholar to the People's Republic of China, and two-time Teacher of the Year within Virginia Beach City Public Schools. He earned his bachelor's degree in education at the University of Alberta, Canada, and his master's degree in literacy at California State University, Sacramento.
Since 2009, Amos has led ALP and actively supports executive teams through multiyear strategic consulting engagements. He remains active in the classroom, collaboratively planning, co-teaching, and innovating alongside educators and members of his team. Amos lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with his wife, Katy, and their two children, Ansel and Evelyn. An avid cook and musician, he loves to explore American and global cultures through these media with friends, family, and anyone else whom his path may cross.
Lauren Hobbs is a former teacher and experienced educator who has led, designed, and monitored teaching and learning initiatives throughout the educational landscape. She has experience developing curriculum, assessment, and instructional assets within large districts and a passion for student-centered learning and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) with district- and school-based leadership consulting in technology-infused learning models.
As manager of education strategy for Dell, Lauren continues to support districts and institutions as they create learning environments and systems that support student-centered learning. Lauren has presented at national and statewide conferences and authored articles on topics such as personalized learning, developing failing forward mindsets, innovation, and professional learning.
Lauren earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education and master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Florida State University.
