In 1992 scientists discovered the Endo Cannabinoid System which forever changed our understanding of our relationship to the Cannabis plant. We actually have a system in our body that takes in cannabis and uses it to balance our physical body (homeostasis.) About the Author

Barbara Harris Whitfield is a consciousness researcher, therapist and author and co-author of 10 books on healing from repeated trauma, the emotional needs of critical care patients and integrating spiritual experiences. Since the first edition of The Secrets of Medicinal Marijuana was released in 2015, Barbara has been invited to speak at several clinical conferences on Cannabis both in Canada and the US.
