Every Logic of English Foundations lesson includes games that will get your student up and moving; and while laughing and playing the child will be learning the foundational skills for reading. Full color, high quality artwork captures children’s imaginations as they develop phonemic awareness, learn the sounds of the single-letter phonograms, improve handwriting, blend short words, and begin to read for comprehension.
Do you want your child to move beyond picture reading? The six early readers, located at the back of the workbook, do not include images. Rather the students must read the words, then locate the matching image, cut it out, and glue it in place. This early reading comprehension activity emphasizes that reading is about words.
Teachers must choose either a cursive or a manuscript version of the student workbook to match the handwriting style they are introducing. These workbooks do not stand alone. All instructions are found in the Teacher’s Manual.
Level A includes:

6 student readers which develop true reading comprehension skills as opposed to the typical readers at this level which encourage students to “picture read”
