About the Author

SILVIA BENCIVELLI is a freelance science writer with a background in medicine. She currently works for the national radio channel radio3 and is a host on the TV show Cosmo (raiTre). She was an Armenise-Harvard fellow and was awarded the Tommassetti prize for science journalism in 2010. She is the co-author of several text books and wrote The Sex Quiz Book (Alpha Test, 2008, also in a French editon)
