About the Author
Philip Seldon has maintained an avid interst in astronomy since his youth and is the author of the first edition of this book. He was involved with the International Geophysical Year and the Moonwatch Program and was the editor and publisher of Popular Astronomy magazine in the 1970s. He is the author of the first edition of this book. Philip Seldon is the founding editor and publisher of Popular Astronomy magazine and the coauthor of The Smart Guide to Astronomy. He lives in New York City.
