The book provides full details of the camera's numerous shooting modes as well as its many menu options for shooting, playback, setup, and special effects. The book includes full coverage of the new features of the RX100 II, including the use of the camera's built-in capability to transfer images and videos over a wireless network and to allow the camera to be controlled remotely by a smartphone or tablet.
