Octavius Winslow was a Baptist minister in the 19th century. He served in pastorates in the United States and England, and was a contemporary of Charles Spurgeon and J.C. Ryle. Winslow became one of the most well-known evangelical preachers of his time, and wrote more than forty books in which he promoted an experiential knowledge of the precious truths of God.
